CB is the gateway drug to Ham Radio and once you are hooked it's hard to quit

Separate category sounds good to me

I could not agree more with Carl.

CB'ers keep the country fed, put gas in our cars, brings goods, products, and groceries to every one horse town in the country.

Trucks and their drivers do.  CB could vanish tomorrow and truckers could still function just fine.

CB and Ham radio could vanish immediately and no body would even care.

This is a hobby.

Trucks stop rolling you will care believe me.

You won't have any food and it will be headline news.

Savvy?

CB seems to be going the way of CW.

Midland Radio Corporation is the official 2020 communications sponsor of JeepĀ® Jamboree USA. With the sponsorship comes a transition with CB being replaced by FRS/GMRS two-way radios. This year JeepĀ® Jamboree participants are still welcome to use their CB radio, but in 2021 all trail communication will be through FRS/GMRS two-way radios.
