Excellent catches OM. I've heard IL, SLP, YMW, LW, BRA, NM and QT here in NJ on good nights using a 31 foot vertical. The challenge is when a few beacons are near to each other in frequency and you have to tune very slowly to separate them out.
DGPS beacons are still on and receivable. I heard they'll eventually be gone. Good thing is that we'll be able to hear whatever maritime beacons are still active. I remember when some beacons actually transmitted wx in AM. Miss those.
The other night I heard a station in the new ham band, it was a series of different tones, not sure what mode they're using though.
No exactly long wave, but there used to be radio buoys from 1.7 - 2 mHz transmitting their odd call signs every few minutes in CW but don't know if they are still being used as marker buoys for commercial fisherman.
