I've been trying to post an ad this afternoon ---  everything is filled in,  picture attached,  and Agreement to Terms window clicked,  but when I attempt to post by hitting the "Review Ad" button at the bottom,  nothing happens.   I have tried with a fresh start numerous times.   Seems to me this occurred a month or so ago when I posted an ad then.    Is this a common problem?  Any remedies?   I have a long history of successful ads ... this problem is quite recent.    Classified Ad manager has not responded to my query yet.

Ever since the site "remodel" I've had to push the button twice for it to work.

This isn’t happening to me and I suspect it’s rare if we haven’t been hearing about it.

I have seen some cases of where the ’focus’ wasn’t in the dialog box and the first tap puts it there and the second one actually clicks the button.  Just not in Classifieds AFAIK.

I recently had a problem where the REPLY and other buttons in the same area weren't showing up.  I would shut down eHam, close my browser, and even reboot my PC but nothing worked.  Then, as a shot in the dark, I logged out of eHam and back in and the buttons are back.  Don't know if that would help your problem but it's an easy test.

I normally use Firefox, but also tried with MS Edge.   Everything fully updated on an Intel i7  Win 10 PC.   Yes, after some time I tried clicking on the 'Preview Ad' button again repeatedly...to no avail.   The Classified Ads have been rock solid for me for years....until recently.   Will try again later, but already gave it several shots earlier today.

For What its worth, I just tried entering the entire ad from scratch on my iPad.....Safari Browser.....same problem....after all is entered, the 'Preview Ad' button does not function, no matter how many times I press it.   I have logged out and back in....still same issue.   I'm beginning to think something has gone haywire with my account???    N2MG   Can you dig further?   Meanwhile, I am going to create a new 'dummy' ad just to see if there's something goofy in my entry data....

PROBLEM RESOLVED - After much testing with substitute data in the various fields, I must conclude that I had a problem with too many characters in the Subject Title.....even though I counted them.   After I shortened the title, the ad submission took.  My thanks to all who responded with suggestions.

After one types in too long an entry in that first ("Item Caption" ) field, and then exits the field, some text immediately appears:

"Item Caption should contain at most 50 characters."

Maybe you didn't see that?

Or maybe that did not appear? If that's the case: what browser / platform / OS are you using?
(Feel free to experiment - just cancel the ad if it goes through)

Apparently I am a slave to Semantics !   Yes, I saw that and took it more as a suggestion than an error message....  but I did count my characters.....obviously I counted wrong....maybe overlooked the spaces.   May I suggest that message remove the "should " and change it to something that portrays more the meaning that the line of text entered is, in fact, exceeding 50 characters?

Maybe the word "should" was used in an effort to be polite. 

I often write technical documentation and I think the right word is shall.
The entire sentence could be reworded I guess.

Never had this complaint before.
