I've noticed that some of us tend to be a bit sensitive and easily hurt when questioned about questions or their related answers. We are generally a friendly group prone to humorously tease each other for something said or implied. We must realize that what is said isn't necessarily spoken in an attempt to cause anger or hurt feelings, but rather to either bring a smile or to actually give an answer.
We've gotten many problems solved in this forum and sometimes it seems like the answer we received may be a slur against us when in reality it's just someone's experience put to words.
ie: Question - "The amplifier tube is cool to the touch."
Answer: - "Is there voltage to the filaments"
A simple answer like that can cause one to get riled up and the fun begins. We should think before we come back with a nasty answer. (I've been in that situation and will be haunted with the results possibly forever, which, thankfully, can't be too long now. Hi.)
