A certain Troll has shown up in this last week to take the place of the Troll that disappeared a few weeks ago.  Of course they are likely one and the same Troll. I would not be surprised that the administration likes the presence of Trolls as they invite much discourse albeit disharmonious discourse. Still clicks are clicks and clicks are good.
Controversy increases bandwidth. Sweet, billable bandwidth. That's all you really need to know; this from someone who's owned several and administered many more forums over the years. The approach is rather short-sighted, as you'll ultimately decrease the S/N ratio so much that your worthwhile contributors will simply leave and not return. Troll-tolerance might work in an extremely specialized forum where only one or two of its type exist on the 'Net but if there are more than a few of such to choose from, allowing miscreants to run wild will lead to a site's demise. Might not happen in a week or two, but it will happen.

Send out professional hit teams to cut coax and control cables.

With so many out of work this will be an anxiety reducer.

Advocating or soliciting for property damage is very, very bad advice in certain states - Texas and Ohio being among them. Of course, this has absolutely nothing to do with off-air conduct (such as trolling a bulletin board) and will likely earn the solicitor a complicity charge should any action of damage come of it.
