How to get Search to display dates linearily?

IOW most recent at the top and descending in date/time order?

On the top of the Forum page, click Search, then when that page opens, under the search box click on Advanced Search. 

Fill in your search word(s) in the box, then click on Search Order, and pull down and click on Most Recent Topics First.

Then click on Search at the right side of the bottom line, and it does what you are asking for.
