Looking For RF Clean Solar Panel Inverter
« on: May 17, 2021, 08:48:00 AM »

I am considering installing a grid-tie solar system.  I want to avoid interference to my ham radio station.  I am going to avoid optimizers out at the panels which can cause issues.   I am planning on using a pair of Sunny Boy 7700W   SB7.7-1SP-US-41  inverters. Has anyone had experience with this inverter or can they recommend an inverter which is known to have low rf emissions.

I use an AMIS 4000 watt split phase inverter at my ham station. Very clean AC out without spectral noise.

I have 1200 watts of solar panel charging through a MPPT charge controller. The inverter runs off of a 28 volt, 300 amp battery system. The higher the supply DC voltage the more efficient the inverter system will be.
