Author Topic: Trying to renew and don't work and email bounces as Service unavailable  (Read 237 times)

Been trying to renew my subscription for the last couple days and it's not working.  Hitting the Paypal button brings up paypal and the amount but I notice it doesn't have the eham name or any name on it.  After hitting pay now it shows processing then closes and that's it.  nothing happens, no money is paid or anything.  Tried to email the webmaster at ehan.net but it bounces back as Service unavailable.  Nothing seems to work.

1. What browser are you using and what OS?

2. I get Mail at webmaster@eham.net all the time.

Using the latest Firefox browser and windows 10.  I'll try another email but pretty sure it will come back.  Like I said paypall comes up in a little small window and it's got the amount and my name but nothing about where it's going.  I hit pay now and it says processing  then closes and that's it.  I can always go to paypal and just send it from there, I guess.  I have the address that was used last year.

Are you using the “Support the site” menu item from eHam ?

I brought up another browser, Chrome, and tried it and it went thru.  Checked paypal and its there.  All set now.  Don't know why but couldn't do it with Firefox.  Also the email I sent hasn't come back yet.  so must have went thru.

I recall FF giving this system trouble in the past but we fixed it.

Thanks for the data point.  We’ll look into it.
