  I for the life of me cannot understand why Ham's list items for sale and Do Not answer Direct emails.

  I have offered to purchase Currently listed items, ( listed 1-7 days ago ) and have not received any answer, not even a F you.

  I've even offered to pick the item up with Cash in hand.

  If it's Sold, mark it as sold and save another Ham the same aggravation that I'm going through.

  Everyone Cannot be in the Hospital having surgery at the same time, or work 24/7.  Everyone has a cell phone with email.

  I'm on 2 other Ham Forums, and it's the same thing there.

It serves no purpose to rant (on multiple forums simultaneously) about something you can't control, change or influence. Just like my wasting my time complaining about your complaining but I have free time now.

Everyone does not have email set up on a phone.
I don't carry a cell phone when I'm at the beach or out fishing.
Everyone does not have 7/24 internet/phone access.
Everyplace does not have 7/24 internet/phone access and some of us get out of the house :-)
Patience will win some good deals from these folk.

No. People should check their email as often as it suits them not as often as it suits someone else. The seller does not owe anybody anything, including his/her time. Buy it or don't. No telling what much more important things come up in people's lives that makes them not check their email.

I would think that if you selling you want it out of your home ASAP and then getting the cash funds for the sale!
But then again people can have their heads where the sun does not shine!!!!!!!!!

7MM.  I know exactly what you mean about unanswered emails. I really wish we could go back 25 years or so when there was NO email. Those were the good old days. It looks like we are stuck in this new way of life now, no way to ever go back now.

If the seller doesn't list a phone number, how is the buyer to communicate? Telepathy?

I'm sure they told Alexander Graham Bell they didn't need the telephone since they already had the Pony express!
There have been Luddites throughout history. Who needs a stupid wheel anyway!

You make a lot of assumptions about people you do not know. Maybe the seller decided to take his kid camping instead of answering his email. What a dick that makes him! Once the deal is set, then there is an obligation to send it ASAP. Until then, no obligation just because you say so. Do you answer your phone every time it rings. Do you answer all left voicemails immediately? Do you ever avoid someone you know in a store?

I've come across people that a buyer just could not do business with even in person! One guy had a tower, everytime I talked to him the price was different, he wanted to sign me up in his homeopathic medicine system, the time to work on it was wrong, etc. One ham just went over, took the tower down and drove off with it and never paid anything!!

First, read my post. As I said, once the deal is done, he needs to send it ASAP. Second, I wouldn't sell you a glass of piss if you were on fire and don't give a rats ass when you think others should or should not post things. You are not the advertisement police, and the world does not revolve around you or your opinions.

In short, your expectations of what other people should or should not do, and when they should do it mean about as much as a mouse fart. Why do you believe what you think is so important? Did someone vote you in as King of For Sale Postings? Please do not wait so long to respond to me this time. To the point you made above, it makes no sense to respond to someone's post then leave for 20 minutes before you come back and say more useless stuff. Five minutes should be the maximum I should have to wait unless you are a crusty old man who does not want me playing on your lawn.
