Greyline Flagpole Antennas
« on: September 02, 2021, 12:21:22 PM »

I ordered a 16" Greyline flagpole antenna in June.  It hasn't even shipped.  They are totally unresponsive, uncoordinated and confused.  The owner should sell the company.  He obviously doesn't care about it, and a new owner could turn it into something big.

Even if it works well when I finally get it, I don't see how I could recommend these guys.

That is why you should read the company reviews first.  Almost none I have seen were positive regarding their delivery times and customer service.

I also was hesitant of ordering a Greyline Flagpole based on the litany of negative reviews and I do not question their merit, albeit last Friday (8-19-22) after talking with the Owner at 7:00 pm PT, he assured me the inventory levels were good and if I ordered my 24 foot Flagpole it would ship on Monday 8-22-22 and I would receive it Thursday 8/25/22.  It came undamaged and all the required pieces.  I also called Tech support a few times because of my misunderstanding of the upgrades and they responded in 15 minutes.  Again, everyone has a story but this is almost in Real Time and I could not be more satisfied and would recommend Greyline.  The Sleeve is complete and I'm waiting the 28 days of curing and then feed the lines.

Good to know. I don’t like these negative reviews based on a one-time experience written by someone who never posted here previously. Thanks for relating your experience contrary to what the OP wrote.

Sixteen-inch Greyline flagpole antenna?

Nobody proofreads anymore!

As for the known scammer who has dozens of pending fraud investigations; I suggest searching "Greyline" in the QRZ Antennas Forum for starters.  Anyone who orders from them without doing the bare minimum of due diligence deserves whatever happens (or doesn't happen).  I think the few that actually receive an antenna are only reason he gets away with his scam thus far---just enough to seem legit and only behind a bit on his orders.

Will be 1 year ago in a few days since you posted this. I doubt that you will ever read this since you only posted once, but wonder if you ever received your antenna?

Did the owner/operator of Greyline have any affiliation with Gulf Alpha antennas?

You may be paying a premium for that.  Which is an observation, not a complaint.

After all, considering all the complaints you read about poor service, it may well be worth every penny.

Just didn’t want someone caught by surprise.
