My changes to my mfj dummy load resistor
« on: September 03, 2021, 04:52:40 AM »

I did not like the performance of the standard configuration and operating only hf, changed the mounting to allow better heat control of the can.  The videos below show the change as I made it and this is my second dummy load that has been modified , one for the station and one for the test bench.  Enjoy, Woody

Is that a Tektronix or Hewlett-Packard DVM you're using? Couldn't quite read Model number. Oh, wait. It could just be a Fluke.

The DVM is a CEN-TEC  which Harbor Freight gives away free sometimes when you buy stuff there.

Are you looking at something else?

No. LOL. Just trying to be amusing but evidently it didn't work. Yes, I have a stack of those "Flukes" and never paid a nickel for them. Recognized it right away. Accuracy unknown but whatever makes you happy, right?

The video shows both of the meters, fluke and harbor frieght which are useful for just testing and expendable if you get it wrong, Woody  My cube mate at IBM by the way was N4MM - small "area"
