Another Anomaly with a new MMDVM hotspot
« on: September 01, 2021, 08:10:33 AM »

I have an MMDVM hot spot that will not produce audio on the radio, or transmit through the hot spot to the DMR network. I have several MMDVM hot spots working with exactly the same programming, and they all work perfectly. I have tried various other micro SD cards from other MMDVM hot spots that are working perfectly on other MMDVM hot spots. When I plug those micro SD cards into this MMDVM hot spot, this particular MMDVM hot spot does not produce any audio on the radio from transmissions that are clearly being received according to the Pi-Star log, and it will not register my transmission on the pi-star's dashboard log either. Every other aspect of the MMDVMs function seems to be working well. I can see where transmissions are being received, and call letters of those received transmissions are being displayed on the log. I know my radio is transmitting because I am using another radio to monitor the simplex transmission from it, and I can also hear that the radio is working perfectly via simplex on other MMDVM hotspots I have. So, I know the radio is setup properly. I've tried both OS versions, 4.1.4, and 4.1.5 for the Pi-Zero. I suppose the MMDVM could be defective, it's new, but I can't help but think the remedy is in programming, programming that is specific to an anomaly within the device, and different than my other MMDVMs. I have tried everything I know to resolve these issues, spent hours, to no avail. Any ideas?
