Hi OM Howard,

Here are the details of a 100W (DC Input) Class 'C' Amplifier that I homebrewed more than four decades ago!

https://nandustips.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-100w-class-c-amplifier.html

The amplifier is in the top row (second from the left). The power supply is in the bottom row (extreme right).

I hope you find it useful.

Nandu.

That's an awesome station, it looks like something out of a book overall. Thanks for the schematics, it definitely gives me some ideas to play with. I'm thinking the bake ware route is going to look more likely at this point unless I salvage something cool to use as a chassis. They're sure proud of them these days!

Now that hamfests are getting started again, keep your eyes open for a WW2 Command Set transmitter, 7.0 to 9.1 MHz.  It has the VFO built in and uses a pair of 1625 tubes.  As a technician class back in the early 70s I converted one into a 6 meter transmitter and added high-level AM super-modulation with a 4x6L6GB 75 watt PA amplifier.  I don't remember the exact chassis tag number, but it worked great for band openings during Cycle 20.

Looked and looked and looked for a chassis, then found this in a flash realization when junking a piece of old networking gear. Trying to figure out layout now and if I want to do tuned input now.

You didn't have the leading "/" on the closing img tag.

Thanks for the assist.

The coil sockets came with standoffs. Are those a requirement for this or can I mount in the chassis without risk of arcing?
