cw app for android
« on: September 25, 2021, 07:45:05 PM »

Hello,

The program by K5JF was great for me for the past five months.
It served its purpose.
Ultimately, I worked up to 18 wpm character speed.
I'm ecstatic over that because I never dreamed it would be possible.
I expect to drop down to 15 wpm to stay in a comfort zone (at my age of 81).

But, in the past few days, I felt the need to move to JustLearnMorseCode because it has 1000 words played randomly.
However, I'd like to break the umbilical-cord to the desk-top and move to an app I could use on the android phone.
So, my question is, "Is there any app for Android that mimics JustLearnMorseCode?"

TNX in advance for any replies.

Actually, once one has learned the characters, the route to improving skills and increasing speed lies in going on the air.

A fundamental aspect of learning is social involvement. That's what getting on the air provides.

I'm using CW Studio to learn the characters right now. It doesn't have words, just figured I'd save you a bit of time. I do like the application otherwise.

I tned to throw it on in the car while I'm driving during what would elsewise be "mindless time." It ensures I probably get 30 minutes a day at a minimum.
