We just had a Parks on the Air mini "Field Day". Anyway, I was exploring the Parks on the Air website. They require that any log submitted be in an ADIF format. I did run across one Linux based logging program: Klog.

Any thoughts on that program? Alternatives to that program?

It been a while since I looked into logging. Years ago, I wrote a simple script for logging based on the Cabrillo format. Is that still around?

For holiday style operating I use HamLog on my iPhone, it saves taking a laptop and is probably sufficient for a lot of casual operating. You export the ADIF file from it via an email attachment to yourself (or anyone else for that matter).

Thanks for the input so far. I am using an Android smartphone as a "hot spot" and connect to the internet through an Android tablet. Gives a bigger screen that is easier to use.

There are a lot of ADIF file converter/creator free programs and web sites out there, so if you find a Linux contest software package that you like without ADIF, you can easily find a way to convert.
