Hey Guys,
I like to decode RTTY all over HF. However, finding the baud rate by trial and error using various software decoders is frustrating to say the least.
When in the military I would use a 100Khz If output to the Y axis of an oscilloscope and a variable frequency signal generator to the X axis. This would produce Lissajous patterns on the scope. I could then easily see the baud rate.
Is there another way to measure baud rate quickly?
Some software with variable baud rate detection?
Thanks...
Eric :-)
