Can't "X" out
« on: October 14, 2021, 06:55:32 AM »

I've somehow lost my red "X" that allowed me to exit the 'page'. It was in the upper right hand corner, but is gone. Any advice?

Kind of difficult without being there and just guessing operating system and browser but I'll jump in.   Press F11 and see if that changes anything.   F11 will throw you into a full screen view of your browser and the "X" won't be visible...just press F11 and it shows up again.   Again not being there in front of it all you're going to get are a bunch of SWAGS.     Good luck.

Usually CTRL-W will close either the active window or the application.  Of course, not every software author follows Microsoft's user interface recommendations, but many do.  And you can usually assume for editing that CTRL-C is "Copy", CTRL-X is "Cut", and CTRL-V is "Paste".

Those key combos are pretty much universal, regardless of OS -- at least those that use a physical keyboard (ruling out Android).
