According to the Radiooddity website it is 9 cents.  Think I will buy me a couple for that price!

That is cheaper than Aliexpress who has it for $99,999 and shipping is only $91.62...

Look at the adds,  you think the folks who write these adds have English as their First or Second language?

In looking at the specifications, ICOM has a problem on their hands.

Built in antenna tuner. 12.5-200 ohms.

Much much... lower price.

Accessory cables included and a very nice screen.

Unknown is the 2 KHz adjacent selectivity. Can't wait for Rob Sherwood's evaluation.

Larger battery, 3.5 AH Lipo battery.

Full 24 bit SDR, no conversion on 10 and 6 meters, like ICOM.

Nicer looks.

No VHF OR UHF....big deal.

Let's stay on top of this.

had the X5105, G1M, and GSOC for the G90... while the built-in SWR sweep and tuners for the X5105 and G90 are great, the cheap hardware and buggy firmware turned me off... i also got burned with the GSOC, as it turned out to be worthless and still not supported well with firmware or documentation...

X6100 buyers are going to end up being beta testers for a goat-rope round of firmwares, where new problems are introduced with each release...

also, one of the reasons i got rid of my X5105 - which i liked- was that eventually the internal battery would have to be replaced, and it is not plug-and-play - you have to disassemble the rig to no small degree, a schema only slightly worse than Elecraft's insipid requirement for KX2 users to have to remove its internal battery for charging

the 705 is a much more capable and refined transceiver with a polished, reliable firmware and industry best documentation, including a service manual, which you will never get from Xiegu..

no thanks, i will pass on the X6100 as a new purchase but may get a used one from a disappointed buyer at a highly reduced price, if only for curiosity's sake

Stated specs and actual specs often differ.

HRO is not going to tolerate firmware and hardware issues as a seller of this product. My guess is the delay in shipping is Xeigu making sure the product is ready for distribution. I notice the price is about $130 lower than the early posting on various web sites.

Of course the delay problem in delivery could be the radios are hiding in a cargo container somewhere.

I am going to caall HRO and get their word about the Xeigu 6100 radio.

True.

I called HRO and the radios are scheduled to arrive in 3 weeks. Hope they are not going through LA' ports.

Maybe they'll come via long path so we won't have to wait? Hi Hi

It sure looks like a very reasonable price for what it offers. Looking forward to seeing some test results.
My only question is, "who fixes them if they crap out?"

i had a G90 display go tango uniform and the seller (not HRO or MFJ) replaced with a new rig in 7 days after i sent it back with an RMA, which i thought was good service... but my days of being an early adopter are over, and i will only buy used rigs nowadays (which is how i got my two 705s)

6100 appears to have the same teething pains as a few other xiegu offerings (see the reviews here)... i hope fellow ops who jumped on this rig get some success though... i think what is missing is field testing by xiegu... for example, the G1M could be a great little rig, but is *still* marred by simple jack failures and no updates beyond initial firmware release ... now w/the the 6100 it is receiver overload? i have not played w/one, but i do feel the pain and disappointment of what could have been a great little rig... hope some other new 6100 owners chime in or post some real-world experiences... itis always good to see new qrp transceivers hit the market
