I sent an email to the eHam Classifieds manager about this fellow last week but haven't heard back yet. I can also confirm that this individual is pretending to be someone else and really isn't familiar at all with the items he's listing.

That lack of responsiveness is equally troubling.

He’s going bananas on the classifieds board. Doubling and tripling down with spammed items he doesn’t own. He’s lifted the text and photos for most of these items from other venues.

I was thinking the same.  for me, these scammer-spammer photos are suspect, especially the smaller item photos.  The backgrounds are the clue. Those who have multiple posts of small items usually have photos with the same background.

More troubling is that it's allowed to continue after being reported.

May we are back to the discussion of " no call sign no postings"

Or at least no sales ads!

I did a little research (maybe try it sometime?) on this person/persons posting items for sale under the name KINGSHAW. Many of the items listed here in eHam are also listed on CraigsList in the Chatanooga and Greater ATL areas. This seller is representative of the business Acme Pawn, 4347 Mundy Mill Rd, Oakwood, Ga.

What you choose to do with this information is up to you.

If you Google the phone number he uses — (678) 861-6571 — then you'll see he's posting to a number of specialized sales boards from a variety of "locations." Here are a few examples with sources all from the last two months:

1) "AUSTIN, TEXAS" on a board advertising radio control airplanes. Source: https://cedarpark.claz.org/classifieds/for-sale/electronics/game-consoles?q=-+truck

2) "MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA" on a board advertising guns. Source: https://aonmag.com/classifieds/guns-handguns/1911-springfield-armory-range-officer-with-extra-2-magazines-45/

3) "BRUNSWICK, GEORGIA" on another board advertising guns. Source: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Ebms7Z02CpUJ:https://gon.com/classifieds/guns-handguns/cz-75-bd-9mm+&cd=5&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

4) "CEDARTOWN, GEORGIA" (328 miles east of the first Georgia address). Source: https://www.peoplebyname.com/results.php?number=6788616571

As mentioned earlier in this thread, it appears this guy was copying the pics from legit ads from Craigslist and pasting them in several specialty websites that offer Classifieds.

He wanted buyers to use his phone number and to bypass eHam's contact mechanism - a red flag.
