I use an LDG AT-100PorII tuner with mine. It can be set for either 125 watts or 12.5 watts which makes it ideal for the 705 at either QRP level or full power. The 12.5 watt setting gives a good accurate reading and if you ever do add an amp or want to use the tuner with a 100 watt rig it will be fine for that too. Using 75 feet of coax from the tuner to an end balun fed 31 foot wire it tunes 40-30-20-17-15 -10 with no counterpoise or radials of ground rod. I work lots of QSOs that way including lots of DX and easily work the "rare" states like ND, SD, MT, WY, AK and easily check in to SSB nets. If I knew what I know now before I bough it I would spend the $$ and buy it. Its a very nice companion to the 705 and works easily/well/reliably.
