I had a blaster operating at the KH6LC station.
I wonder if you were the op when I worked KH6LC. You had good sigs into Colorado (I am pretty sure I worked you on 15, though I later worked another Hawaiian on 20, which surprised me late in the day on Sunday).
I probably worked only 9-10 hours total, with only a little over 2 hours on Saturday night, and then the rest on Sunday. I worked 205 stations, which isn't that much given that amount of time on the air. However, it's been years since I tried to be competitive in a contest (probably maybe 20), and I realized that I need to hook up the N1MM software so as to key the transmitter and send CW that way, as opposed to using the transceiver memories. I briefly called CQ and immediately had my biggest run of stations (otherwise, I searched and pounced), but found that, with the keyboard in the wrong place, and having to type in stuff while hitting the correct memory button on the transceiver, while at the same time sending my number manually, there's just too much to do. It'll be better next time.
It was fun to get back into a contest, and though I felt really rusty and slow, I started to feel more comfortable as I went along.
