Are any of you guys using the eham-mobile theme (aka "skin" for you youngsters)?
IMO, it works MUCH better for smaller devices (like a phone) than the default theme. Unfortunately this setting transcends the device so you cannot have one setting on your PC and a different one on your phone. Not too hard to change though.
Click "PROFILE" at the top of the forums, then on the left look for "Look and Layout" (under "Modify Profile")

Then toward the center is Current Theme: and click the "change" and click "Use this theme" under "eham-mobile" at the bottom.
Revert by following the same steps but "Use this theme" under "Forum or Board Default"

Are there any serious plans to update the eHam software? These issues are becoming tiring. I have tried changing skins and it is just lipstick on a pig.
Spend some time on QRZ to appreciate the sophistication of their software and contrast it to eHam. They haven't solved the image hosting issue but it seems that at least more people can host images using their enhanced GUI. eHam on the other hand has the opportunity to appear to directly host images but has taken zero action to enable this totally free option. While you are there, contemplate why their traffic is orders of magnitude greater than eHam traffic.
If I were to improve eHam, I would get rid of the iframes, provide pseudo image hosting, support LATEX so that formulas could be presented in a readable manner and have better thread support tools. And that would be my day one plan.
Can you offer any roadmap
at all that correlates to "please send more money to support eHam"? If you prefer to discuss this privately, my email address is my call at ARRL dot net.
BTW - if history is any indication, I expect zero response from eHam moderators or owners. QED.
