Wanting to add second station location log to AC Log
« on: November 09, 2021, 03:44:03 PM »

Hello everyone,

I am sure this question may have been asked before, but I am just recently getting back into using LOTW and AC Log.  My question is this.  I often operate portable from one of the farms that my family owns in Albany, Kentucky.  I operate from the farms for events like Field Day, and some of the major contests, and I would like to be able to upload these contacts that are separate from my home QTH log to LOTW.  My main QTH is in the city of Richmond, KY.  I am wanting to be able to add a second station log in AC LOG for when I operate from Albany.  I would like to be able to switch between the log that I keep for my QTH in Richmond, and a separate log for the contacts that I make when I operate from the farms in Albany.  Can someone that knows what they're doing walk me through the process of setting up and being able to switch between two separate location logs in AC LOG?  Thanks for the help!

Greetings Michael -

Lots of folks successfully do what you are in search of every week, be it POTA, SOTA, holiday trips, whatever, so I am sure someone will be along shortly to share some info.

In case no one drops by quickly, you might try the N3FJP Software Users group over in groups.io.  Lots of AC Log knowledgeable folks over there as well as Scott (N3FJP), the author of AC Log.

Also, you will need to have a separate LoTW certificate for each of your QTH log uploads,  as well as making sure that you have selected the correct one before uploading to LoTW each time.

There - I've shared all I know (but would love to learn more).
