FT3DR vs. FT5DR
« on: November 25, 2021, 01:55:54 PM »

Hi all, I'm trying to decide between a clean, used FT3DR and a brand new FT5DR.  Any experience/recommendations appreciated!

If money is no object, go with the FT5. The oldest radio will always be the first to lose support from the manufacturer as far as upgrades and updates.

The difference what I know,
Ip7 water-resistant
Better audio
Design more user-friendly
I have the ft5 2 weeks and positive!
