7205 @ 2300z...Please verify....
« on: December 14, 2021, 05:18:57 AM »

I have been noticing a very weakish AM broadcast signal on 7205 lately, right smack in the middle of the General Class 40 m phone band....can anyone verify that this signal/station is coming out of China?.....Internet search seem to indicate thats it.....I cant really tell what language is being spoken as the signal strength is quite low.....searching various web SDRs provided the same result, even from the west coast......what say you?...anyone know what this station is?...CRI?.....a smaller station?.....

Shortwave Info  (https://www.short-wave.info/index.php) indicates that (was) is China Radio International.

FYI... 7200 to 7300 kHz is ham exclusive only in IARU Region 2 (North and South America). It is SW Broadcast elsewhere...
