PI and Ham radio ?
« on: December 15, 2021, 07:28:00 AM »

I've been out of the hobby for a long time and have seen some items regarding a PI and amateur radio. So can someone point me to a site with amateur related software for the PI? -- thanks.

At this point there are a literally hundreds of things to use a Raspberry Pi for when it comes to ham radio, a lot of it depends on what you want to do with ham radio.

I use a Raspberry Pi 4 with 3 SDRs.  I run rtl_tcp on the Pi to stream IQ data from an RTL-SDR to my iPhone and iPad.  https://github.com/osmocom/rtl-sdr
I also run wsjt-x WSPR and ft8 encoders and decoders on the Pi 4 to transmit beacons and monitor ft8 on multiple bands for antenna experiments.
