TS-480 iambic mode-B and frequency drift
« on: January 05, 2022, 02:57:40 AM »

Hi everyone,
knowing that the 480 is still a highly regarded mobile rig, I have on-off read about the 480 not having CW iambic mode-B (or that it's not working properly) and also that it suffers frequency drift if the TCXO is not installed. (mandatory I read for digital work)

Can anyone having 480 - any version - comment on this please.
Thank you.

I've been using the TS-480SAT for several years; mostly for digital.  I've not experienced any drift problems that would require installing the TCXO.

Thank you Thomas.
Anyone else on iambic mode-B or drift?
