Handheld with Bluetooth?
« on: January 07, 2022, 09:34:43 PM »

Is there a model that could be connected to a wireless headset just to monitor?
At this point I am ok even with a handheld scanner with Bluetooth...
Anything?

Icom ID-52a with the optional VS-3 Bluetooth® headset.    You didn't specify cheap.   You could get a bluetooth adapter for your baofeng.  You can find those with a Google search they are all over the place.    I try to avoid the CCP.

There are lots of Bluetooth transmitters on eBay and Amazon. I use one with a Bluetooth speaker to monitor a shack radio elsewhere in the house. Note, some small transmitters have a short battery life of around 5 hours.

Some handhelds with Bluetooth may work with the built-in car Bluetooth system, although I’ve not had any success pairing an AnyTone D878UV with a VW Group car.

I have found that the Pryme one is the only one that works well and integrates with just about any BT headset/ear piece.
