For the past year or more, many users have had to endure consistent slow loading web pages for Eham.   Generally took about 7 seconds for EACH page to load..    all other web sites loaded quickly.  This occured on any and all devices.
That said,   I am now seeing my Eham web pages loading quickly, as other sites have always done.
My Question for the Webmaster --  were there any changes that took place yesterday, Monday Jan. 10, 2022,   That may explain this much appreciated change to page loading time?

 This may seem strange but mine has always been fast with my iPad mini. Loads almost instantly.
 I don’t see any change for better or worse at this end.

It might be purely coincidental but this site is loading pages lightning fast on my end today.

Glad others are seeing this, too.  Yes,  I admit that many if not most users did not seem to have this problem,  but if you go back on this forum to last year you will see some discussion on the issue for many of us. 

I would just like a brief feedback from the administrator on my posted questions, though....  " was there a recent change".

Sorry, never had any page loading issues. Not a year ago and not now. I read eham and qrz at odd times during the day and the pages always load in less than a second. The only time I have a delay, and it's a response delay on my end, is when my laptop decides to do a virus scan or is busy indexing. But that has nothing to do with eham.

I am very sensitive to the response of a website. One of the benefits of eham over the years (cca 10) I've been following it is its instant loading. In the worst cases, when a page didn't load instantly, it took a fraction of a second.

No change on my end. It always loaded fine - except when they occasionally blow the site up.

Maybe someone upgraded some of the data bottlenecks that were between your computers and eHam's servers.

That's the most likely scenario.

Just yesterday, when I tried to get on eham to read the postings, I got a "page not found" error. I tried again later and everything was fine. I see that issue, from time to time, on other sites too. So I don't think eham is to blame.

I do suspect that was the issue because so very few users seemed to experience the slow 7 second loading of each and every page of Eham.  I am on the Oregon coast...  perhaps some problem with Eham routing in a regional system.   I would have liked to have mapped out the locations of the few users who had experienced this issue....
