Integration of Icom IC-7100 with SDRuno
« on: January 17, 2022, 06:39:14 AM »

Those of you who have an Icom IC-7100 or similar line radio:  Have you tried integrating it with SDRuno?

I've been using RSPdx and SDRuno for several months and love it (SWL only).  I've noted this web site that describes integration of the IC-7100 with it:  https://icom.va2fsq.com/win4icomsuite-overview/

Here is a brief summary:
"Win4IcomSuite is a windows control program for the Icom IC-7100,  IC-7300, IC-7600, IC-7610, IC-7700, IC-7800, IC-7850/51 and IC-9700 transceivers supporting Icom’s built in spectrum scopes, the IQ spectrum on the IC-7610 as well as the SDRPlay devices.  All functions are provided in an easy to use interface that easily allows control of many options that are hidden in the radio interface."

I'd be interested in hearing your experiences with this combo.

:) Using an Icom 7300 it displayed all of the active functions in a clear and easy to work with format. I like big displays so the 7300, while "usable", it was awkward a times. Point and click with a PC display is MUCH nicer. 28" LCD display. Pay one time. No subscription run arounds.
