Motorlola F connector
« on: January 22, 2022, 04:06:27 PM »

Howdy Folks,

I am setting up to use a couple of Motorola CDM1250's for link radios for a repeater pair. Since they have an F fitting I got out my universal fittings kit and made an F male to UHF female so I could begin testing and programming. I went to Max Gain and ordered a couple of F to UHF adapters. They arrived and I now find that the threads on the new adapters is finer than the threads on the radio. My universal adapters have the right thread. Is there some other name or something for these fittings?

Thanks!

Not F - that's for cable TV,

Mini UHF whose thread should be 3/8-24:  https://www.amphenolrf.com/connectors/mini-uhf-connectors.html
