Anyone using CAKEWALK software with your rig?
« on: January 25, 2022, 11:23:57 AM »

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may be using the free Cakewalk audio processing software by Bandlab with their rig.  Judging by the Youtube videos by folks in the music/vocal recording world it might be useful for ham radio use as well.  Please let me know your thoughts, pro and con, ease of installation, and mic and radio you are using it with.
Many thanks and 73,

Check out K1GMM on youtube. Also he has a website with information on setting up Cakewalk and the plugins to use.
Yeah I know it says ESSB but trust me it is not about 6K wide audio. He even goes thru setups using an IC-7300 with cakewalk.
