AnyTone AT-778UV duobander assistemce needed
« on: January 31, 2022, 09:35:00 PM »

Hello All -
I just received an AT-778UV rig and I'm having some trouble getting it to operate properly. The receive seems fine but I can only hear anything when I push the P3 button which apparently disables the squelch. The biggest problem is that I can't seem to get it to go to any menu function but 1-5. The manual says that I can make adjustments from Menu function 16 but I cannot get the rig to indicate anything but 1-5.
I'd appreciate any advice on this. Thanks.

set up the programming software and connect to the radio, under the options tab check and see if the radio is in the amateur mode. They usually ship in the commercial mode

Hi Bruce,

I owned one of these a while back and they are not user friendly. This might work.

Push and hold the FUNC button
Choose menu # 4
Push buttom for either # 4 or FUNC button, this should bring up the squelch settings from OFF to 9
Turn channel knob to select squelch level, then press P3 or FUNC button to store
