Thank you to POTA OPS
« on: February 09, 2022, 02:02:43 PM »

i want to thank POTA ops for their professionalism, courtesy, good operating procedures, and most especially for their willingness to work QRP operators...

i operate almost exclusively /p at 10W or less, and a lot of my contacts have been w/POTA folks out and about during the week, activating various parks... there are some great guys and gals running these activations and shortly after registering with Parks On the Air, i now have Bronze and Silver hunter awards - very cool, indeed!

these folks are making /p ops a lot of fun, and i am hearing activations from all over the world...

so thank you, folks! you are much appreciated and a great credit to the hobby!

It's fun going to a park and getting on the air for a few hours, my portable antennas are better than my home antenna :-)

Have we had a QSO?  Your call?
