Anyone else working with the RT10 1w DMR HT on 33cm HAM operations?
These radios are being marketed for 902-928Mhz ISM license free use in DMR Simplex use under FCC Rules. However they seem to provide all the needed support for Analog FM and DMR Amateur Radio use.
I have found the RT10 to be a great, inexpensive (less than $70 with programming cable purchased in a pair off Amazon) way for the XYL and I to get on 900Mhz.
Simplex and Duplex FM and Simplex DMR were simple to configure with the RSS software. DMR Repeater configuration is more challenging to date. Does anyone have a working DMR repeater codeplug?
My Codeplug is almost working as the radio is recognizing the repeater on TX or the HT won't and the repeater is going into DMR TX but In am not coming across nor can I decode anyone coming across on my RX. As to TX, I am not registering in the last heard call watch listing. But if you monitor the repeater output in Anaolog my transmission sounds like anyone else's does.
Perhaps from my comments as to how the repeater is and isn't responding someone can provide a hint as to what may not be properly configured? They provide no documentation at all with the software.
