HJAT-Caracol Radio Barranquilla - Barranquilla, Colombia 15KW-1100 kHz - very strong in Florida last night

Got super clear ID - twice - within just a few seconds of each other - and totally dominating the frequency over 50KW WTAM in Cleveland.

34 second YouTube clip starts with music from Caracol Radio and at :12 seconds in they give the first ID - then at :24 seconds in they play their ID "stinger" music and then give another clear "Caracol Radio" ID:

O--I have heard so much Spanish on AM 530-1700 khz. I still have yet to understand Spanish !! Seems AM radio '530-1700 is vanishing from Caribbean area but still active in South America. (I think) Often allot of the Spanish is not from USA but way to the 'South'. I guess record things and ask for help.

^^^^^^ Start by learning a few key words. Sometimes that is all that is needed when it comes to IDing a station broadcasting in a foreign language. And work your way further from there.
