Update to base post of an equipment review?
« on: June 06, 2022, 05:17:49 AM »

So I went to look at the review sheet for a Jetstream JT270M just now.  The header says that it's "in production" and to go to www.k1cra.com for more info.  It looks like this transceiver is obsolete/no longer available AND k1cra no longer has any info on the radio. This is understandable as the latest review is six years old.

How/who do we ask to get this updated?  I'd suggest changing the for more info link to:

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1204900/Jetstream-Jt270m.html

as that will at least give you the instruction manual.  I dug this 6m/70cm radio out of my junk pile carefully stored and exquisitely indexed used equipment cabinet when my FTM-7250dr developed memory problems and became unusable.

Always disappointing...  Just like Youtube videos that tell you the link is available in the description only to find out the page doesn't exist anymore.  Maybe they need to correct all those millions of videos?   I would say it's more of daunting task to keep up with than we realize.    Click on...

Why not just remove the "In/Out of production option entirely?" It is often wrong and of little to no use anyway.....

I've updated the Product Desciption with both changes. Thanks.

The Product Description info like the reviews is user contributed.  eHam will update the Description info if notified of changes.
