I am looking for a tenma power supply, model 72-6180, manual, service manual and tips....secured one at a swap meet and it works 100 percent but can't seem to find any info on line....looking for a schematic for the same and if a ovp(crowbar) circuit is advisable for same.
I cannot find anyplace online for this old power supply so am hoping someone has something out there...thanks de wb7tdg

still no luck getting a schematic for this little beast....but it performs nicely so decided to work on the fan noise a bit...
I moved the fan to the outside of the case with same direction of air flow....that dropped the fan noise(caused by case design) to a much lower level.
Installing a low value resistor in the fan B+ lead dropped the fan noise even lower and air flow was comparable to original fan placement and direct voltage level.
Since there is now a gap between the internal heat sink and chassis, I made a heat sink duct out of some cardboard and that made the air flow even quieter plus and much improved air flow over original design, plus the power supply runs even cooler than before.
Installation of a a/c input thermistor...same value as an astron 35a uses...got rid of the  switch on inrush current grunt.

TENMA brand name was acquired by NEWARK Electronics,
after MCM Electronics of Dayton closed.

Newark MAY have those Legacy Manuals or PDF Scans.
Boat Anchor Manual Archive (BAMA) has TENMA Directory
