B&W Model 650 MatchMaster
« on: June 18, 2022, 11:42:53 AM »

Looking for an instruction manual/schematic for this unit.  Hard copy or electronic version is OK.  My unit appears to work, but internally there are two variable capacitors and one potentiometer whose functions aren't obvious but must have something to do with some sort of calibration.  Any information for this unit would be appreciated.  BTW, Surplus Sales of Nebraska has the manual but won't sell it since it doesn't meet there minimum purchase requirement.

Be aware that there are two B&W Matchmasters. A Model 650 and Model 651. The 650 is 50 ohm impedance and the 651 is 75 ohm impedance. They look identical. It's important to know when doing part replacements or calibration.

Always check here first (they have the one you want by the way):

https://bama.edebris.com/manuals/

There are hundreds (thousands?) of manuals there!

Or if you want a really nice printed copy, ask the guy above :-)
