LTE Network Extender [Verizon]
« on: June 20, 2022, 12:11:01 PM »

My neighbor has a Verizon LTE Network Extender ID # 264660820. Sometimes we connect to it, usually it's signal causes us and other neighbors to miss or drop calls. I have contacted both FCC & Verizon. In an attempt to resolve the problem Verizon offered me a FREE unit, neighbor paid $250 for his. I turned Verizon down, as it would just make the problem worse. I live less that 2 miles from 2 Verizon towers. The reason for this post is that it has been suggested that my amateur station is causing the problem & if anyone else has experience with this problem.

Who suggested it?

On what technical or factual basis was this suggestion made?  IE, is their a correlation between your transmitting and the dropped calls?

Whats the problem?
And why would an extender in your house make the problem worse?
Your eqpt is not causing the problem unless it is generating a lot of noise.  You would probably notice this while operating. Got noise?
