You may want to redo your search. Try looking for "Radio-Mart" and "Martyn Allison"

Radio Mart - a company and NOT, in any way, an individual seller you would find on QTH, QRZ or eHam. In fact, Mantra gives them a five star. Hmmmm.
Martyn (the owner) is also into auto repair. See the link? Auto parts swapper turned radio parts swapper? If true, one person - hardly an epidemic of single op parts swappers.
NEXT!
Not so fast.

I am beginning to think this "part swapping" business is an urban legend. Yes, it might have happened to one or two people, but I doubt it is rampant. In fact, in a brief Google and Bing search, I found NOTHING about ham radio part swapping.

You did not say anything in that post about an individual vs. a company. Strike one.
A simple search of posts about both Radio-Mart AND it's own in these very forums will reveal a host of complaints... I didn't bother to count, but significantly more that 'one or two people'. Strike two.
Whether or not this particular induhvidual also owns other companies that are alleged to pull the same alleged part swapping is irrelevant, and an attempt to change the subject to distract the readers. Foul ball.
And there are additional posts regarding others who have had issues with part swapping. Here, Over Yonder, and on many other forums. I merely posted one well-known example. Swing and a miss; strike three. You're out.
This is why I tried to politely suggest you redo your search. Clearly, I was being too polite. So, with all due respect, for the purposes of clarity, I shall be less polite.
Either your search criteria was poorly submitted, leading to no results. Or you crafted your alleged search, if there actually was one, to provide you with the results you wanted, to make or "prove" the point in your previous post that the issue is a myth.
