Transmitting about 100-200 watts on 2310 & 4835 kHz from Central Victoria.

On air approx 1000 - 1500 UTC.

As someone who really misses DXing the 120M band, this warms my heart. Hope the station does well.

Awwww - THANKS for the link, Peter!  I'm certain there are those ,especially in the outlying areas, who will be QUITE pleased to listen.  Those in cities/politics often don't understand that much of life is beyond the range of internet cables.

Is this a pirate or a licensed station?

I wish our government would drop the > 50KW requirement for a shortwave license.  I could do amazing things where I live for a good regional station on a half kilowatt or so.

2310 and 4835 kHz were previously VL8A and VL8T.

Have they returned to shortwave?
