Yaesu FTM-400 Help Needed
« on: July 13, 2022, 06:45:19 AM »

So I cleared all my memories, and entered a new list, the radio re-booted. Well now the "Beep" is super low. I go to "config" menu 8, and set beep to high. It's still low......any ideas?

Press and hold the DISP setup button to save the setting to memory?

You can make changes in the CONFIG menu, but they will hold only as long as the radio is on.  once you turn it off and back on, the radio reverts to its programmed settings. Chances are the beep is set to low in the programming and that's what's happening.

Yep.... I did. I may do a factory reset, and see if it works.
