Setting panel Audio tab is showing Input: Line (USB Audio CODEC) but Output: dropdown list not showing Speakers (USB Audio CODEC).  Can anyone suggest a fix for this?
Thanks and 73, Bob

You didn't mention what interface and OS you are using.  If you are using Win10, an update likely messed with your audio settings.

Running Win 10 here.  Recall seeing a recent update take place.
You refer to audio settings.  Could you be more specific.  Which ones?

Go to device manager and see if those speakers exist on that PC. Most likely it does not. Reboot, making sure that your interface or rig is is turned on and connected so as the PC comes up it finds it. If that doesn't work, re install what ever driver for the codec was installed in the first place.

Bottom line you didn't give enough information for us to be more specific.

Second bottom line: Windows sucks, but it is what we have.

You don't have to be stuck with windoze.  I haven't used windoze in about a year now.  Everything you can do in windoze you can do in Linux if you are willing to learn how to find what you need.  I am finding that Linux Mint 20.3 with the Cinnamon desktop can be set up to work and look just like Windows 7 (the last decent Windows OS).  I am running CubicSDR and FLdigi and WSJT-X all on Linux with no problems at all.  And I don't have to worry about viruses or MS stealing my data and operating habits.
