CLUB STATION RENEWALS
« on: August 02, 2022, 01:01:17 PM »

It seems now all club station license modifications/renewals must be done by CCRenewal something. Who are they now ? It seems many/most have drooped out. W5YI..dead links...

O-then fees must be paid in 15 day expiration when you get a notification. You can't just pay them. That bugs me. What if your half dead for 16 days ? Lose everything ? Captured in Ukraine or something ?

The FCC ULS site doesn't work any longer? I used that to renew my club license.

To modify needed to submit a form signed by Trustee and another. I emailed the scanned signed form to the ARRL VEC.

I don't know if something has changed in rules. GL

It seems any modification required you have to send it to a CLUB ? as the ARRL VEC

THEN the FCC decides your fees and you have something like 10 days to submit via online. If no fees end up there you are zapped. (maybe)

I just thought it strange one cold not simply pay to begin with. If you are club trustee the notices are sent to your email of record and if your 'not around' you don't get such but obvious can turn your email over to another club member who can review your whole life including financial from your email. I expect to get a call to go for a surgery that probably puts me outa whack for awhile so I simply double thought about the procedure.

VEC's ?? No list it seems.

Club call renewals or trustee changes cannot be submitted directly to the FCC ULS. They must go through an agency authorized to submit club call changes to the FCC. The ARRL is one of those organizations. All the pertinent information can be found on their website.
