SignaLink USB
« on: August 08, 2022, 05:20:46 PM »

In a recent move, I lost my notes on how to connect the SignaLink USB box to my Yaesu FT-891 for operations with FT-8.
I would appreciate some guidance.  I know I have to connect the RADIO and USB ports.  What about the other 3 ports?
Tnx.  W4OEQ

If you are referring to the remaining ports on the Signalink, none of them are needed for FT-891 interface.  The 6 pin-DIN/RJ45 cable connects the Signaling to the FT-891 'RTTY/Data' connector.  The USB A/B cable connects your computer to the Signalink.  That's it.  The other three Signalink ports are for circumstances when you might have to get creative with an older rig.
