If all you need is transceiver control, the Commander component of the freeware DXLab Suite is free:

Thanks for reply.

I was interested in getting TRX-Manager again mostly because it has a nifty google earth type map display of selected active stations, or at least it did in 2016.

I Already have transceiver control system. Does your referenced control have any map type displays?

Yes, the freeware DXLab Suite's DXView component provides the ability to display both active stations or logged QSOs on its built-in world map, on the DX Atlas map, and on Google Earth, as shown in the screenshots below.

DXLab can also do this (click the white arrow in the lower-left corner)
