nanoVNA recommended supplier(s)?
« on: August 18, 2022, 06:58:10 AM »

I read the recent thread on the on going development of the nanoVNA with great interest.

I have a  2 year old small screen version and consider it the best value in all of ham radio.

I am looking to purchase one of the large screen latest versions.  Given comments about knock-offs and clones what are the recommended source(s) for a new one?

thx to anyone taking the time to offer advice.

I was interested in the 2.8" screen size LiteVNA which works to 6.3 GHz so I could do some work on a WiFi antenna at 2.4 GHz. I prefer the smaller version since it fits a shirt pocket very well.

R&L showed one in stock but it turned out it was none in stock.

Next I ordered from an eBay vendor which showed stock. I noticed they had not shipped after a week. They admitted they had no stock so I was able to cancel for a full refund.

Next I tried Aliexpress. They actually had the 6.3 GHz LiteVNA for $89.06 and it was in stock. Total cost including shipping and sales tax was $99.07.

That is the unit I showed on this thread. It works very well. Just the many new features made it worthwhile.
