I've read that some of the returns from amazon are barely inspected, the tv short I saw made it seem that the lots of returned items are sold to the highest bidder, but I am sure amazon has a variety of ways to deal with these sort of losses.

Look at Craigslist near any major amazon distro center.

Bakersfield, Ca for instance.  There are ..4.. (maybe 3) amazon facilities within 100 air miles of each other.  Also a Wal Mart distribution center 40 miles away.

Craigslist is LOADED with "AMAZON PALLET RETURN AUCTIONS".

That is just one of them.  There are another 10-15 sites in the area.

That's another one.

Between Amazon and WalMart 'returns', the pallets are being sold like crazy!

People just don't understand.  It's returns.  It's either defective, didn't have everything or was a 'rental'.
