Request for a "sticky" post in the Digital Forum on FT8
« on: September 08, 2022, 05:40:56 AM »

I swear, there's about a billion posts in the digital forum that are some variation of "I can't decode FT8 signals."

Well over half of them resolve with:  "Install Meinburg, Dimension4, or JTSynch to get your PC's clock accurate enough for FT8, because the default Windows' time management isn't good enough".

K0UA has helped a lot of hams get going on FT8 by personally answering their questions on the phone.

Maybe he should be invited to write this post? No one would be better suited.

I guess too many don't read the WSJT-X Installation documentation. Pity.

If they posted stickies with factual information, all the Ellmers here would have nothing to do.
